Natasha Henstridge has two children from a relationship with actor Liam Waite. Her sons are Tristan River Waite, 24, and Asher Sky Waite, 21.The eldest Tristan was born on October 12, 1998, and Asher arrived three years later, in September 2001.
Natasha and Liam never married and broke up in 2004.The same year, the single mother of two found love again, this time with Scottish singer and Pop Idol star Darius Campbell Danesh.
The couple had an on-again, off-again relationship, getting engaged, then calling it off in 2010, then having a secret wedding on Valentine’s Day in 2011.The couple later filed for divorce in 2013.
Darius was 30 when they married, and he became the stepfather to Tristan, who was then 12, and a nine-year-old Asher.
However, he’d been in their lives for much longer than that. Darius, who was born on August 19, 1980, started dating Henstridge in 2004 when he was only 24, and the boys were just six and three. Tristan now works as a model and posts arty snaps on his Instagram page.
His father Liam was an actor known for movies Flatland and Ghosts Of Mars, while mum Natasha found fame in the sci-fi hit Species.
What did Darius Campbell Danesh say about his time with Tristan Waite and Asher?
Of the sons, Darius said: “Natasha had two incredible children, Tristan and Asher, and I had the fortune of – over many years – being a very close friend to them and I shudder to say the word stepfather, but you grow to love these children as closely as you could your own.”
He also said: “The sense I’m left with, though, is how lucky I was to impact these two young boys’ lives.
“I got to play with them on the beach, to take them on holidays, I got to bring them to Edinburgh when I was in Guys And Dolls, to tell them ghost stories on the Royal Mile.
“It was amazing. So I have nothing but gratitude for this relationship..”
